CEGEKA AND MICROSOFT

The Hasselt IT company Cegeka and the Belgium-Luxembourg department of Microsoft have signed an agreement for the development of a computerized medical workstation. The medical workstation is for doctors, nurses and pharmacists and is based on the electronic medical dossier (EMD). This collects the patient’s clinical, administrative and financial data. The Microsoft technology uses a portal concept in which patients and their therapies are central. this electronic medical workstation gives immediate access to patient information to all interested parties.
