LAMBERTZ GOES INTERNATIONAL

Lambertz has developed from a small niche supplier to one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of long-life bakery products. Since 1978 its revenues have risen from DM 16m to EUR 400m. In 2006-2007 revenues rose 2.1% to EUR 472m. Its internationalization trend is developing and the capacity of Lambertz Polonia is to be expanded again. The production will have a 100% focus on the Eastern European market. One of the advantages of this is that Lambertz Polonia is an independent company that has its own portfolio and an autonomous production strategy. The same concept was also introduced at the beginning of 2007 in the US and is to be introduced in the Canadian market.
