The Mechatronics Group, a leading strategic outsourcing partner for all developments in production of parts, systems, and construction elements has acquired PRONTOR GmbH in the Black Forest and has taken over Control Mechatronics GmbH in Nidderau, near Frankfurt, which was founded by the Mechatronics Group. This means an expansion in the Eifel as a supplier of systems for technology oriented products. The link makes the Mechatronics Group one of the biggest system suppliers in Germany. Around 900 staff work at Mechatronics and they are producing annual revenues of EUR 170m.
