TOHO TENAX INVESTS

Toho Tenax mass produces PAN-based carbon fiber. It has established itself as the world’s leading carbon fiber manufacturer, and the Japanese Teijin-Group, which Toho Tenax belongs to, is going to invest EUR 51m in a new fourth production line. Toho Tenax is expecting the sales of carbon fibers to expand by 15% through 2010. The new operation is scheduled to start in August 2009.
