Tessenderlo Kerley (TKI), the American branch of the Tessenderlo Group, has purchased Surround® crop protection from the BASF Corporation. This is part of TKI’s expansion plan for its niche crop protection activities. Surround® is a patented kaolin clay-based particle film technology that protects agricultural and horticultural crops such as tree fruits, nuts and vegetables from sunburn, heat stress and insects.
