AUTOMOTIVE BIZ PARK

The Karosseer is the new name for an automotive business site in Maastricht. Construction was started in 2002 with the change at the former trailer park, Vinkenslag. It has now been totally renovated, decontaminated and modernized for the automotive sector, and will be ready for business in 2009. Approximately half of the site is ready and a large number of the former occupants of the trailer park are living elsewhere in Maastricht. The mayor of Maastricht, mayor Leers, and a number of the trailer park’s occupants were present to give the park its new name, Karosseer, which comes from the French for a carriage maker.
