FLIGHTCARE TO INVEST EUR 20M

Flightcare, which provides airport services, is to invest almost EUR 20m in the next three years at Brussels, Ostend and Liège. Flightcare is focusing on the growth of long-distance flights and an increase in the number of charters run by tour companies. The amount will be somewhat higher because the Indian company Jet Airways has not yet been included. Jet Airways is expecting to be carrying more than one million passengers to Zaventum, Brussels, within a few years. Flightcare is thinking of handling 69,100 flights, that’s an increase of 2.5%. The cargo volumes should rise by 17.8% to around 230,000 tons.
