TAX CUTS INVESTMENT

If the plans of Minister Bos, the Dutch Minister of Finance, are implemented, imposing corporation tax (VPB) on the housing corporations from 2008, it will cost these corporations around EUR 900m in Limburg over the next decade. This will mean an end to extra investment by these corporations in the improvement and upgrading of the housing and living conditions in urban areas and centers of Limburg. This is one of the most important conclusions of research by Deloitte at the request of the housing associations into the effect of the imposition of this company tax.
