Q-PARK EXPANDS IN BELGIUM

Q-Park, the second largest European parking company, is opening a new parking garage for 612 vehicles under the Stadsplein in Genk, Belgium. In recent years the interests of Q-Park have been expanding rapidly with strong market positions in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Scandinavia. The group is concerned with long-term positions and interested in locations at airfields, railway stations and hospitals. It employs 2,220 and runs 525,000 parking places in ten European countries. Q-Park has been in Belgium for a decade and employs 50 there. It has operations in Brussels, Zaventem, Antwerp, Berchem, Mechlin, Genk, Ostende and Charleroi.
