KWANTUM NEW MANAGEMENT
[BIZ: Maastricht, October 5] After being with Kwantum for over seven years, Mr A.M.A. (Ari) Franken (43) will resign as Management Services Director with effect from November 1, 2007. The Managing Board would like to thank Ari Franken for his commitment to the company over the years and wish him every success in his future career. As from the same date, the Board will appoint Mr J.W. (Jan Willem) van ’t Hof (42) as Kwantum’s new Management Services Director. Jan Willem van ’t Hof has been with Kwantum since 1999. During this period, he held the positions of ICT Manager and Logistics & Business Development Manager. Kwantum’s Works Council has endorsed this appointment as well.
The Managing Board of Macintosh Retail Group announces that Mr P.A.E. (Edward) Buitelaar (43) will be appointed Managing Director of the Group’s subsidiary Kwantum with effect from November 5, 2007. He succeeds Mr E.M.H. (Eric) Coorens, who joined Macintosh Retail Group’s Managing Board as COO on July 1, 2007. Edward Buitelaar has wide experience of the retail business and until recently was General Manager of Edah Lekker & Laag. The Works Council of Kwantum has endorsed his appointment.
