NO TO ‘CRADLE TO CRADLE’

Businesses in Venlo, who want to pursue the ‘Cradle to Cradle’ principle, should not expect any form of financial support. The ‘Cradle to Cradle’ principle is that everything can be reused. The principle is to be used in sustainable development from agri-business companies in Greenport and at the Floriada, but does not intend to support those companies that pursue the ‘Cradle to Cradle’ trajectory with subsidies like cheap locations, etc. The companies really have to invest something, but with ‘Cradle to Cradle’ they will eventually have more left over.

William McDonough, one of the originators of the ‘Cradle to Cradle’ principle and American architect, yesterday signed an agreement with the regional municipalities and the province and a declaration in which the parties agree to apply ‘Cradle to Cradle’ to the development of Greenport and Floriade.

The principle is basically recycling everything.
