SIEMENS & TRIANEL SIGN

Trianel and a consortium led by Siemens Power Generation signed a contract in Salzburg for the turnkey production of a coal-powered 750MW power plant. If all goes according to plan in respect of permits for the construction of the plant at Lünen Stummhafen, Siemens and the consortium, with the Japanese IHI company and Austrian Energy Environment, will complete the Trianel plant in 2012. Following Hamm-Uentrop, this will be the second power plant that Siemens has built for Trianel.
