In addition to the new Milan flights from MAA, the Mercure Hotel has been purchased by the airport and there is also to be a new freight terminal. This second freight terminal will add to the cargo capacity of the airport, where 90,000 tons per annum is currently being carried. The new terminal should double this figure.
