TREGA GOES BELGIAN

The Maastricht car manufacturer Trega has been sold to the Belgian investor the Koramic Investment Group. Trega Maastricht makes floor and wall tiles, including those under the Sphinx name. It employs 178. Koramic also has a tile factory in France and expects to produce synergies from the takeover. The Maastricht business can soon sell its tiles more easily in France, and the French business can sell in The Netherlands. It’s not clear whether there will be any transfer in production.
