STUDIO JANSSEN IN DUBAI

Multimedia Studio Janssen from Stein in South Limburg has received a major contract from the German engineering company Schiess Defries from Duisburg to set up a promotional project. Currently the largest oil-drilling platform in the world, weighing 8,500 tons and 28 meters in height, has to be moved 200 meters from the construction site to get it into the water.

As this is such an engineering feat, Schiess Defries has decided to record it and have called in the assistance of Multimedia Studio Janssen to record the event in pictures and video. The heat will be 40 degrees centigrade, and there are 10,000 people of various nationalities working in the docks of Dubai. [A far cry from Stein, I hear you say. Ed]

There is also to be a full-scale 3D animation project. This has not been released because the whole business is top secret.
