AUTOMOTIVE MILLIONS

EUR 42m in public money will go to the automotive industry in South Limburg. This was announced by the minister responsible for the economy, Maria van der Hoeven. The EUR 42m will go to high-tech innovation in the automotive sector, and within ten years this should create 10,000 extra jobs. DSM in Geleen and Eurocarbon will be able to make use of this. The targets for the innovation programs are, among other things, systems to reduce fuel costs and information technology which help the driver.
