LIOF ANNUAL REPORT

The management has produced the annual report for 2006 and it demonstrates that Limburg is on the way to meeting its objectives and has clear priorities. Venture capital, innovation projects, investment support and space for business play an important role. In total LIOF has invested almost EUR 16m in 29 companies. In addition to this venture capital activity, LIOF has also supported 70 Limburg companies with innovation projects and technology subsidies. The amounts involved in this latter trajectory were higher than ever in 2006 at EUR 13m.

As far as inbound investment is concerned, and development investment for footloose companies in Limburg, 2006 was good too. LIOF helped 16 companies, where a sum of EUR 16m was involved and 750 jobs created. LIOF services are much in demand and it was involved in 26 development projects, revitalization projects and business park management issues throughout the province.

Finally, the result was positive at EUR 3,157,920.
