IIMS IN HEERLEN BIZ PARKS

Seven business parks in Heerlen with an area of around 300 ha are soon to benefit from an integrated, incident-driven collective safety system (Integrated Incident Management System) which makes use of intelligent cameras. The project is an initiative of BTM, Parkstad Limburg’s Business park Management. It’s 24/7 all the days of the year, but does not include businesses that do not pay for the service. Subsidies of EUR 183,000 have been obtained from the EFRD; EUR 234,000 from Heerlen and EUR 255,000 from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The system is linked by fiber optic cables
