SPE LUMINUS GREEN POWER

SPE Luminus, the energy company, is going to invest between EUR 80m and EUR 90m in Belgium next year and will give preference to green energy. At the end of the year eight new windmills will be installed at Dinant and Vinalmont, and in March 2009 two gas turbines will come into operation in Angleur. SPE Luminus currently has four windmill parks, two bio-gas plants, eight hydro-power plants and one biomass installation. Energy is also generated via five thermal power plants and two co-generation plants. The company also noted that it has signed the Good Behavior Code drawn up by the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Freya Van den Bossche.
