GOOGLE LINKS FRENCH SITES

[BIZ: Brussels, May 4]
Google is providing links to Belgian French-language papers such as Le Soir and La Libre Belgique again. This was announced on the Copiepresse website, which has been involved in a lawsuit with Google. As a result of the legal battle, Google had removed all links to French and German language Belgian papers and anyone who entered ‘Le Soir’ or ‘La Libre’ in the Google search engine received no reference at all to the papers. The situation has now come to an end and Copiepresse says that this is a first step in a constructive dialogue between the parties. On the Google news site, Google News, the French papers belonging to Copiepresse are still not available.
