EAST BELGIAN ECONOMY RECORD

The east Belgian economy achieved record levels in 2006. Construction and trade led the race. Industry and production showed capacity levels in four out of five businesses of more than 75%, with 30% of businesses announcing 100% capacity. Hotels, restaurants and hospitality generally and tourism were able to announce this highly satisfying situation.
