[BIZ: Aachen, April 18] The 3rd International Automotive Workshop for Direct Injection for Gasoline Engines will take place on a different date. It has been moved from June 14 and 15 to September 17 and 18, and will take place in Spa, Belgium. The potential of gasoline direct injection with regard to power, torque and fuel economy makes it a key technology for future gasoline engines. Recent advances in fuel injection technology enable a better use of the fuel economy potential and meet customer demands on power and torque increase. Robustness plays a further decisive role in the entire development process. Efficient calibration methods are essential to fully implement the potential of GDI operation with regard to fuel economy and performance, particularly for customers, as benefits in day-to-day driving conditions.
