GO LONDON!

[BIZ/EDU: Aachen, April 12]
On Wednesday, May 12 at 14:00 the European College of Business and Management (ECBM) in London and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Aachen are offering an information session on their educational programs provided in London. The session will be hosted by Dr. Angelika Ivens, Project manager of ‘Ausbildung International’ of the IHK Aachen, as well as an instructor from the European College of Business and Management.

During the information session the following courses will be presented:

The MBA program enables students to gain an internationally recognized management qualification in under two years. The course is delivered via distance learning, and is suitable for holders of the Betriebswirt degree (or those with suitable experience). The program has two stages: The first stage of the program requires students to obtain the Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) which is taught over three long weekends in Germany and one full week in London, over a period of 9-12 months. Then students progress on to their second and final year of study to complete their MBA with the University of East London.

The course Higher National Diploma in Management Studies (HND) provides a one-year fast-track career development route for those wanting to gain formal academic qualifications whilst working. It is especially designed for students who have already achieved the German qualification of Kaufmännische Berufsausbildung or similar qualification (e.g. Fremdsprachenkorrespondent/in). The HND is a pre-entry course for the Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies (Entrepreneurship) run by the University of East London and the ECBM.

The two-week program Doing Business in the English-Speaking World is an intensive course for trainees and young professionals. It includes daily teaching classes, several excursions as well as exams. The main aim of the course is to improve participants’ knowledge of British business, their communication skills and their awareness of British culture, which is achieved by living with host families.
