PUNCH INT. INVESTS IN CHINA

Punch International is investing EUR 7.5m in the construction of a plant in China where automatic transmission units will be made. The plant in St Trond will supply the Chinese plant. The new plant will be operational by July 1, 2008 and will be located between Shanghai and Nanjing. Insiders say that Shenzhen, near Hong Kong, was also an option.
