The Walloon minister André Antoine has announced a plan called Solwatt to encourage solar power in the region. EUR 20m from the European Structural Fund 2007-2013 will be used in the branch. Issol, a company that manufactures photovoltaic solar modules with customers in the private and public section and clients in Europe, America, Africa and the Middle-East, is likely to benefit from this.
