TECHSTART LAUNCH

The Techstart project is designed to provide seed capital and to support people with good, innovative, ideas who are thinking about starting up a business. The project focuses on high tech start-ups in the fields of Agro-Food, Life Sciences, Chemistry, High Tech Systems and New Energy.

After a first screening of the idea and the entrepreneur, an investment of up to EUR 30,000 is made through a subordinated loan. The money can be used by the new business to develop their ideas to the point where they can form the basis of a new business.

The businessperson gets a personal coach and has access to the Hoogstarters Limburg project. The Techstart project is following up on the experience of LIOF, with pre-seed and will be offering 48 future businesses with good ideas a chance to start up for themselves.
