HALFORDS MANAGEMENT CHANGE

After a period of nine years with the company, including eight years as general manager, Mr P Burger has submitted his notice indicating that he wants to retire as general manager of Halfords Nederland BV effective as of June 1. The Macintosh board has accepted his request and thanked him for the contribution that he has made to the development of Halfords into a specialist store for bicycles, car and cycle accessories and mobile navigation equipment - with 150 stores in The Netherlands and Belgium.
