CZECH LSO GOES WITH STAR

STAR INFORMATIC has announced that the Czech Land Survey Office (LSO) has chosen to implement Star’s Mercator in its cartographic production process.

LSO is a central administrative body for surveying with nationwide competence, based in Prague, Czech Republic. LSO performs (among other things) the maintenance of Fundamental Base of Geographic Data (ZABAGED®) as well as the production of topographic maps in scales from 1:10 000 to 1:1 000 000. Currently, more than 80 highly skilled specialists and many years' experience assure the development and publication of a wide range of high quality cartographic products.
