BIOMEDICAL MATERIALS PROGRAM

Plans are moving ahead for the Biomedical Materials Program (BMM). The program has a provisional budget EUR 120 m and will run for five years. The research program will focus on cardiovascular disease, problems of the skeletal system and joints, oncology and kidney disease. The program will be associated with the establishment of a top pharmaceutical institute and a center for translational molecular medicine.
