ACCO BRANDS TO BORN

The American Acco Brands Corporation is one of the world’s largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly USD 2bn. Its products are marketed in over 100 countries worldwide, and now it is setting up a major distribution center in Born, South Limburg, and will employ 140.

Acco took the decision on the basis of a study made by the German Frauenhofer Institute, which revealed that South Limburg was the most favorable location for this development. Acco will be working with the Public Logistics Center (PLC) in Born on this new project and it’s renting 18,000 m2 at the PLC business park in Holtum North for a minimum period of five years.

Acco not only chose Born because of its excellent geographical location, but also because of the multi-lingual skills of the population and the flexibility of the workforce.
