ROTHSCHILD IN LIEGE

The private bank Privée Edmond de Rothschild Europe is opening a branch in Liège. Its Luxembourg branch (BPER) opened an office in Belgium in 2003. The bank wants to take over a part of its Liège clientele who, with office holder Eric Dumoulin, can make the transfer over from the Brussels Degroof bank. There are also plans for branches in Ghent, Courtrai and Tournai.

Rothschild is the first foreign private bank, after SG Private Banking, to take a chance outside of Brussels in Belgium.
