Hansen Transmissions is going to invest EUR 140m in Lommel. The money comes from Suzlon Energy, an Indian manufacturer of wind turbines. The investment will mean an extra 300 units. Hansen produces sustainable drive systems that are used in wind turbines, among other things. The company was purchased for EUR 465m earlier this year by Suzlon Energy.
