SONIC DRILLING

[BIZ: Maastricht, October 11]
During the Business Contact Days in the MECC in Maastricht on October 10 and 11, Conex of Bunde demonstrated a new branch of its activities: Therm-X, a new environment-friendly approach known as sonic drilling. With this method the area around the drill offers less resistance because of high frequency sonic vibration. It makes it possible to drill more quickly and there is very little residue. The energy from the soil can be used for heating buildings by using heat exchangers. This saves energy and is always available. It’s ‘green’ because there is no CO2 emission.

The Therm-X sonic drill, originally developed in Canada, is now adding to the arsenal of Conex, which is a national and internationally known soil mechanics expert.
