[BIZ/SCI-TECH: Liège, October 2] One interesting topic dealt with was the problem of dealing with the multiplicity of intermediary organizations. [It was of great value to have a cross-border approach to the issue from France and Germany; although, one wondered whether it would not have been helpful to have cross-border participants from closer by (i.e.: from the Jülich Research Center rather than Southern Germany. Ed] The Eurogroup Consulting Alliance is one of Europe’s top consultancy organizations. Their mission is to resolve questions clients come up against in the course of their organization and development work. Eurogroup Consulting has some 30 experienced consultants in Belgium and Luxembourg working in four key sectors of the economy: finance, health care and the public sector and industry. The Eurogroup Consulting Alliance has more than 600 consultants Europe-wide with 13 offices in eight countries. All these agencies fall under the umbrella of Eurogroup Consulting Alliance.
On September 14 the Eurogroup held a conference on how to add value to research innovation. The conference was attended by ministers Marie-Dominique Simonet and Jean-Claude Marcourt. The results of a study on adding value to innovation were introduced by Philippe Barzin and presented by Messrs Taillens and Hillebrands.
