The ongoing internationalization of business, new legislation and the need for an innovative capacity to develop new products and services in accountancy are the reasons for the alliance. Nexia Nederland is part of Nexia International, a network of independent accountants and consultancy firms, with 349 offices in 92 countries and one of the ten largest networks of professional service providers in the world. Nexia Nederland launched October 1; the head office will be in Amsterdam.
Accountant and consultancy firms Koenen and Co from Limburg, Horlings Brouwer & Horlings in Amsterdam, KroeseWevers in Enschede have formed an alliance. The three firms are going to collaborate under the name Nexia Nederland, while retaining their own names, identities and independence. Nexia Nederland has 560 employees and 17 offices in the south, east and west of the Netherlands.
