BELGIAN FOREST DAYS

There is to be a special forestry fair at the exhibition center in Malmedy on September 22, 23 and 24. The activity is supported by the Meuse-Rhine Euroregion, the Walloon District, the Province of Liège and the Germany-speaking community. It is designed to reintroduce the public to the world of forestry, which has been going on in the Stavelot-Malmedy area since the 7th century. There will be exhibitions of forestry equipment, education, the people in the world of forestry, the organization and sale of wood for construction and for the fireplace, the Belgian lumberjacks’ competition and a conference on the quality of forestry in the Walloon region.
