EVS SALES UP 15%

EVS Broadcast Equipment designs media servers, with the associated control software and production networks, for the international television and motion picture communities. It has seen it sales for 2005 go up 15% over 2004, largely due to a new product for TV productions. The company now has EUR 27m on its order books for 2006. That is already 50% of last year’s sales.

EVS’ roll of honor in recent weeks has included the Golden Globes, Super Bowl, Winter Olympics, the Africa Cup and the fact that Spanish national public television TVE has selected EVS hardware and software to digitize its for its news center
