CMI GROUP ACQUISITIONS

The Belgian Group Cockerill Maintenance & Ingénierie (CMI) acquired the engineering company Kappa Thermline (Paris), specializing in industrial thermal processes, last November.

On December 19, CMI also acquired the Russian company Stalproekt
(Moscow, Russia), which has designed most of the reheating furnaces in the Russian Steel Industry. Both companies will join the CMI BU’s specializing in industrial furnaces (CMI EFCO and HEURBEL) to form a new thermal branch together.
