RAYTHEON DOUBLES ITS PROFITS

Raytheon, a US-based industry leader in defense and aerospace systems supply, has doubled its profits. This is significant for Meuse-Rhine, because companies in Liège, including PFSWeb and Ionic Soft, play a role in the company’s activities. PSF cooperates with the Western hemisphere aircrafts parts distribution and Ionic is enabling Raytheon to open NASA EOS Data and Information Systems data pools for use by the global open GIS network.

Net sales in the past year went up 8% to USD 21.9bn, profits doubled to USD 871m, (USD 417 in the previous year), or USD 2.08 (USD 0.99) per share despite the high special taxes in the previous year.
