LA FABRIK

La Fabrik is a multimodal space just across the Wandre bridge from the highway between Maastricht and Liège. It recently hosted 500 guests of Mong Koo Chung, president of the highly successful Hyundai Motor Company - 2005 Net Profits Up 32.6% On Unit Sales Rise 1.4%. Access to La Fabrik is easy; just remember to turn in to the building housing the Ministry of Finance.

The space is multimodal, meaning that it can be changed rapidly to fit the event being held. The building is in the middle of a major shopping area, and the dock (quai) offers 400 m2 with options for dinner, cocktails or a small theater. The theater itself is 280 m2, which allows for 300 seated guests and there are other shapes with different options. The first floor has 840 m2, again a theater option for 600 seated guests with other possibilities. The café, 90 m2, has variable seating facilities too.

Upcoming at La Fabrik on February 18, is Legendz, electronic music, they have reserved ten dates this year -and information can be obtained from their web site (www.legendz.be). Art shows are coming too, as is three weeks of Japanese culture. Check the website for details.
