AGFA GOES WITH ESSERS

Agfa-Gevaert has announced that an agreement has been reached with the social partners on the company's plans to sell its logistics operations (the storage and distribution of Agfa-Gevaert's film consumables and equipment - Gevaert 8) in Wilrijk, near Antwerp to the Limburg (B)-based logistics specialists Essers. Agfa-Gevaert has entered into exclusive negotiations with Group H. Essers, which has been handling the storage and distribution of Agfa's printing plates from Wilrijk for a couple of years.
