EUR 20M FOR TIHANGE

Major repairs and upgrading are taking place at the Tihange nuclear power station (45km south of Maastricht). The total investment of EUR 20m will go towards safety and new technological improvements. The first job will be to close down Reactor Two. Staff at the power station say there is no danger to the public involved.
