NEW SAINT GOBAIN GLASS BOSS

There has been a change at the top at the glass manufacturer Saint Gobain Glass GmbH in Aachen. Succeeding Franz Josef King (61), a long time president, is Fabrice Didier (38). Frenchman Didier has a PhD in physics and started work in the Paris Research Department of the company in 1995. He then worked at the Cologne-Porz plant in the international coordination of glass layering technology. He was then the head of the glass works at Auvelais.

Saint Gobain Glass Germany has five plants in Germany and there are 30 glass-working companies. This means 2,800 employees and revenues of EUR 550m.
