NEW FITNESS CENTER IN LONTZEN

On the physical well-being front, a new fitness and wellness center called ‘Injoy’ has opened in Belgium’s German-speaking region at Lontzen. It covers an area of 2,200m2. The driving force behind the project was Robby Langer from Eupen who ran the sport and leisure center in the Eupen Langesthal. He has moved on now and 800 members have joined the new club. Daniel Schils is also a partner. According to Grenz Echo, the number is already up to 900, and they are hoping to have 22,000 in the long term.

There is a 70m2 pool, two saunas (Finnish and bio), a steam room, and all of the other facilities that wellness seekers enjoy. Membership costs EUR 44.90 per month on an annual basis [with a commitment for 24 months], EUR 125 for ten tickets, or EUR 17 for a single-day ticket. Childcare is available for 19 hours a week. Injoy opens to the public on January 22.
