MARKETING MAASTRICHT

In December the new marketing program for Maastricht was presented. The general objective is to define and profile the position of Maastricht as a tourist destination to increase the number of visitors. This will be done by implementing a marketing and communication plan for selected groups. Points of focus are: Inbedding Remago, this means working out the recommendations of the survey carried out by Berenschot Remago; launching the new tourist office website for Maastricht; the development of a campaign on specific topics, with more media focus on events and activities in combination with special hotel deals. Maastricht’s Uitburo is an aspect of this (which we have discussed before); shopping promotion; and new markets will also play their role.
