[BIZ: Liège, December 23] There will also be a major construction project of 250 to 300 houses at Glain-Burenville and finally there will be a U-shaped apartment building with 33 energy-efficient units on the rue Leenders.
Laurent Minguet, founder of Liège's EVS Server company, who is investing EUR 7m in the renovation of the Hôtel de la Couronne is also setting up a number of other energy efficient housing projects in Liège. A pilot project in the rue Xhovémont in Liège involves 80 energy saving units of 80m2 with heating costs of less than EUR 300 annually. This will be a low-rise project and also create park facilities. Offices and housing will also be built with 15,000 m2 of office space as a façade, combined with housing units at the back. This will be on the Cuivre et Zinc (copper and zinc) site not far from Belle-Île.
