LRM INVESTS IN ENTELEC

[BIZ: Hasselt, December 17]
The shareholders of Entélec Control Systems NV and LRM, the Limburg investment company, have agreed on an increase of capital of EUR 850,000 to be provided by LRM to support the proposed international expansion of Entélec. Entélec, which was set up in 1992 with a focus on heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, and engineering, has developed into a company providing totally integrated solutions for buildings, industrial complexes, railways, underground traffic management, and network management.

Entélec has come up with the Sky-Walker project. This is a typical high-end application that offers a total management approach using one graphic user-interface. This brings the various intelligent control systems, including access control, fire detection, intrusion detection, close-circuit television (CCTV), heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), programmable logic control (PLC), lighting control, electricity (high and low voltage), traffic control, lifts and escalators, and telephone switches, all together in one management system.

Entélec is looking for this extra capital in order to market this system on a larger scale. The company is the tenth IT company in which LRM has invested.
