TNT: GERMAN POSTAL OFFENSIVE

Dutchman, Mario Frusch (48) is the new Chairman of the Board of EP Europost. EP Europost AG & Co. KG, capitalized at EUR 40m, is a joint venture of the Dutch TPG Post (71%) and the German Hermes Logistics Group (29%), a susidiary of the OTTO group. Since, September 2000 the company has benn delivering addressed mail in Germany.

According to an interview in the German Financial Paper Handelsblatt, this TNT subsidiary is mounting a campaign to to strengthen its number 2 position in the German Market.
