ENECO Energy has stepped forward as a co-sponsor of Winterland Maastricht with the Bavaria brewery. Regional Director of ENECO Energy, Jos Muller, says that the company wants to support associations, groups, and events in the city. “We’re moving into the position left vacant by Nutsbedrijven Maastricht”, he said. “This means we want to be involved in what happens in Maastricht. We want to be a partner for clubs, and groups, and events, and the first step is the sponsoring of Winterland Maastricht. Of course, we want to get a market share in Maastricht and will attempt to win the people in Maastricht as customers for ENECO Energy. ENECO Energy is distinct from other companies, in our view, by reason of its personal approach.”

ENECO Energy is a service provider that delivers gas, electricity, and heat. It has operations throughout The Netherlands and a high degree of regional involvement. It currently employs 5,000 and has its head office in Rotterdam. ENECO shares are in the hands of 70 Dutch municipalities. It provides gas and heat to two million households and companies. It is also interested in cross-border activities in Belgium.
