PHONE DIRECT FROM MISTER MAIL

[BIZ: Maastricht, November 22]
Mister Mail, the oldest e-marketing bureau in The Netherlands, is introducing a new option in The Netherlands: Direct phone from the mail. This new facility makes it possible to make a phone call from an e-mail. Companies and organizations can allow their customers to get in touch, directly from a newsletter in order to make a booking or ask for information.

Thermae2000 in Valkenburg, a leading spa in Europe, has recently become the first to use this option by putting it in its newsletter to its customers. You put your own telephone number in a blank field on the newsletter and click on ‘Phone Free’ and a link is made between the reader and the sender of the newsletter. The technology for this ‘Belmail’ comes from the Dutch TNO research institute.

Marnix Postma, Hospitality Manager at Thermae2000, says, “We’re amazed by the results that this facility produced. Technically everything works well, and a number of calls have come via the newsletter. In the coming period, we shall be using this more extensively to assess the added value of the direct client contact.

Mister Mail, a specialized e-marketing business, has been operating since 1998. It provides strategic advice, development of concepts, direct e-mail campaigns, database analysis, e-marketing content, and opt-in e-mail list services. It works with 80 national and international customers, including a number of AEX exchange quoted businesses and the Meuse-Rhine Journal, of course.
